When I go to the grocery store, I am always surprised by the level of packaging that goes into it. All of the good is heavily packaged in plastics and the logos always have some reference to the natural world or farming.
I make this post not only to show the foods I find “healthy” and will buy, but many of these photos I took as an exploration for my midterm/final project for this semester. I am exploring plastic and its impact on our city, and grocery stores are a place for plastic galore.
Below are the various foods that are packaged. Pay attention to their logos as well: (always has a sun, farm, animal, or something from the natural world):
These are the items I found “healthy” and was deciding to buy. Many of the items are Organic if I can afford it, but I have noticed that they often have Farms on them as well. Sometimes they say things like “natural” to make them sound better. And I know that this term does not always mean something better.
