Merchants of Doubt – Naomi Oreskes

At this point in the semester you should have completed reading Merchants of Doubt by Naomi Oreskes.  I recently saw Robert Kenner’s screen adaptation of the book at the Angelica, a few blocks from our classroom.   If you see the film and bring in the ticket stub, I will reimburse the price of your ticket.  This link will bring you to the New York Times page to find a theater in your area.  Clicking the image below will open the trailer in a new window.

Merchants of DoubtClicking on the image below will open Naomi’s University of California at San Diego presentation

The American Denial of Climate Change, Naomi Oreskes This is a link to a video of Naomi answering climate skeptics.

A KPBS review of the film and Tom Meek’s thoughts.
